Pieta house 'amber flag' committee
The Pieta House Amber Flag Initiative recognises the individual efforts of primary and secondary schools, youthreach, third level institutions, community groups and clubs to create healthy, inclusive environments that support mental well-being.
Our Amber Flag Initiative is in full swing in St Mary's NS.
The children have designed a Wellbeing Calendar that we have implemented in our school.
Each day we dedicate time to promoting positive mental health. We are getting active with our Feel Good Friday 10@10. Lots of celebrations of the wonderful achievements and news on Terrific Thursdays. Our wellbeing wall is full of positive affirmations to remind us of the power of positivity.
